I was asked to go pick up the boys medicine at the pharmacy this afternoon, so I went and then found out that it was too early to get the prescription filled out.

Tomorrow @ 9:30am I'll be in court for my divorce hearing.

My whine is that I'm so COLD this morning!! It got down in the 40's last night. I'm not ready for Fall to come yet. We got ripped off with summer this year in NY. censor

Yeah it got cold here last night in CT too!

Thanks RZ, yeah I didn't need to show much just some papers. I didn't have to even take the witness stand, my "X" was asked to take it (since she was the Plaintiff, I guess). The judge asked her a few questions and asked me if I had any questions and I replied "no". That was basicly it. The whole thing lasted about an hour, mostly waiting through other couples divorces and for the court to get their act together (they were missing some files and the clerk had to go out of the court-room out to the hallway to an office to collect the files, so we all sat there looking at each other for a few minutes).

Afterward I went over to my parents house, my father was home, he said "Hi, how you doing?" (without knowing I just came from the courthouse). I couldn't talk right away, I wasn't able to speak or breathe at that moment and I waved and walked up to him and the damn to the tear ducts broke. My father gave me a hug (I felt his uncomfortableness/awkwardness) and he casually said, "You can't do this here, I have some people coming over, come up to the deck" (he gives tennis lessons) and after a few minutes the tennis people call telling him they'll be a little late, so we were able to talk for a little bit more and then before I left I gave him the casual handshake.
