RE: Post Acute Withdrawl (PAW)
Quote:you may have difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep. for me, it's not the falling asleep, it's the staying, as when my head hits the pillow, i'm out! i sleep afew hours, then wander a bit, then back to sleep, most days up at 3-5 am... with going to bed at 10-11 pm if i have the time, a take a short nap... i used to think my sleeping patern was crazy, now i see it's not, it's just where i'm at at this point in my life... and i dont feel tired during the day... another example of... "it is what it is" Rule 62 |

RE: Post Acute Withdrawl (PAW)
My hubby's that kind of sleeper too kas.
I usually have broken sleep unless I worked during the day, then I'm out like a light for 5-6 hours. I had to knock the coffee on the head, since I stopped drinking, more than one cup a day ensures a sleepless night. I can actually feel it coursing round my system. Physical Coordination Problems
A very serious PAW problem – though perhaps not as common as the others – is difficulty with physical coordination. Common symptoms are dizziness, trouble with balance, problems with coordination between hand and eye, and slow reflexes. These result in clumsiness and accident proneness. This is how the term “dry drunk” came into being. When alcoholics appeared drunk because of stumbling and clumsiness, but had not been drinking, they were said to be “dry drunk.” They had the appearance of being intoxicated without drinking.

RE: Post Acute Withdrawl (PAW)
For me that is normal sober actions; when drunk I actual walked as if I were sober; another issue causing seeming drunk behavior for me is Novacaine; the latest derivative of it is the first that does not give me the physical symptoms of being drunk.
